Hunter - Question

My gaming group and I have been playing together for 14 years. We are long time D&D and Traveller players, and were on the playtest group for the D20 Star Wars game.
I read the post below that stated there may be some openings with the drop of some inactive playtesters.
We would love to help out and have no problem signing an NDA. Please let me know if this is a possibility. Thanks in advance.

I am waiting for a more updated draft from Martin, after which I will be opening the playtest up again to new testers.

Do you have a feeling that this draft will be getting seriously closer to being a final draft? Are you happy with the major systems?

I know I'm getting geared up to a real connected campaign instead of a series of test-sessions, so I'm curious as to how close you feel to being "on target"

I think everything is pretty damn close at this point, which is one of the reasons I want to open the playtest up some more. Get more people active in refining everything and doing what we can to ensure everything is there that needs to be there.

Some systems will probably still be tweaked a bit more, but I don't see any major changes to any systems at this point.

Honestly I am quite jazzed about T20 at this point with the rules. There have been some compromises that had to be made, but all in all I think we have done a good job at keeping it Traveller and merging it with d20.

Please let me know when you open up the Playtest...my gaming group has 5 members including myself, and we would be anxious to get in as early as possible (we just ended a campaign and are waiting to start a new one). Thanks.

Most supremely excellent, more or less my thoughts too. You guys have done well. I'm excited to get the game a rollin' with my group, and some of my players are already talking about the website they're going to put up.

Excellent! Please let me know the links to any fan sites, and we'll try to get a list reciprocal links of them all going.

I'm just about to start a new campaign myself set in Milieu 0 and I'm using a messed up version of different rules, mainly Megatraveller with a bit of T4 (what few good bits there where).
As a result my group would be up for some playtesting regarding the new systems.
I have built a web site to give details on the new campaign. A lot of the material has been changed from cannon to fit with my view of a modified Milieu 0.

Hi,

I've been lurking on this forum for a while now, and would like to present myself and my role-playing group as possible playtesters. There are a couple of things that make me unique as a playtester for T20. I have never played Traveller in any incarnation. I haven't GMed in years, either. I am an active role-player, and a Sci-Fi fan, and I've been collecting Traveller source books for a while, just because I like the game universe. I think this makes me an ideal representative of the target market for T20. My roleplaying group is currently playing Star Wars d20 (we converted over from the WEG system), D&D3E, and Feng Shui. Not every player is in each of these games, of course. And each is GMed by a different person. Some of the other GMs have already volunteered to pause their campaigns, if we were selected as T20 playtesters.
Looking forward to hearing from you, Hunter.

Hail Hunter,

Let me add our group to your consideration for second draft play testing, if we aren’t too late. I have finally heard back from all concerned and I have 4 definite players including one who didn’t even know what Traveller was but because its D20 and we’ve been playing 3rd D&D now since its release he’s eager to try it (free market research, seems the d20 tag can bring in new players). There are also 3 other players who are possible and or part-timers. The others and myself have varying experience ranging from played CT ages ago to played and dm’ed every published version of Traveller except GURPS (we couldn’t get past the use of Imperial measures instead of Metric and our funds were being channeled into MTG, fools that we were). Just let me know what info you need and we’re ready to go at this end (actually they are starting to bug me to play this weekend already).

This is the far-trader Empress Poppaea signing off.
