Icers

jasper

SOC-12
Imperium Combat Emergency Rations.
Cost 50 Cr Weight 0.1 Kg. 1 bar gives the need calories for 1 human for 1 day. Icers can be broken into 4 long strips. Tasteless.
Even Marines think standard dehydrated rations are a five star meal compare to these. Marines have threated to eat their own before eating these.
I thinking of buying some kitkat bars and making labels up for them.

Alright Icers Cost 1 Cr.
Now Spicers Special Production Icers. Cost 50 cr.
The difference.
Spicers are top of line in combat rations each spicer is and taste like a full four course meal or 4 sperate meals. You have choices from texas porterhouse steak with baked potatoe and corn on the cob with apple pie for desert to the 4 meals which could breakfast ham and eggs, lunch cheese burger, dinner porkchip suey, and desert chocolate ice cream.
Spicers come in thousands of different flavors. Due to imperium contract however the flavors are randomized for convenicene.
Spicers have been a part of Imperium for over 400 years.
Icers are only 200 years old. While not a new product it was only recently begun to be sold.
Due to imperium audit 800 discover the difference.
Icers are bad batches of Spicers. Due to the complex nature of creating spicers some batches do not meet standards. Until 200 years ago these batches were distoryed. However a marketing exec decide to make money on the side by selling the bad batches. The batches are not harmful but either the icer has no taste or worse and mixture of taste. For example the infamous blueberry clobber porterhouse steak, the ham runny eggs pizza, and oddly the most request from some marines is salsa limber cheese pinto lima bean and franks package.
