CT Only: If I buy the CDs are they up to date?

I just purchases the MT CDs and I'm thinking of ordering the CT CDs too.

Is there / Will there be a errors?

Does anyone know if the errata made it to the CDs?

Thanks for your help,

I don't know how updated the CDs are, but, unless it's arleady there, I'd suggest you to read (and I guess you can dowload it freely, DonM will tell us if not) DonM consolidated errata (accessibe through his signature), a they were one of the main MT flaws.

The current CT CD-ROMs are the "2nd Edition" CD-ROM Discs with errors corrected from the 1st release (AFAIK). I do not know if any additional errata are pending since the release of the 2nd CD-ROM. I do not see an "Errata" PDF file on the CD-ROM.

The 2nd generation of CT CD-ROMs appears to be far better than their predecessors: missing pages are supplied, very poorly scanned pages are rescanned and finally legible.

Now, if they would only overhaul the JTAS disk I would at last buy it!! :)

The current CD's are generation 3 of the PDFs. (Gen 1 was the Hunter scans...)

Most of the scanning errors have been fixed. They are, however, still scans of the original material, not re-layouts. They are OCRed.

The errata has not been incorporated into the books, but is a separate errata document. It's the same as the errata document from don's website, but may be a few months back. (not that a lot changes.)

So??? The errata is a separate document with the CD?

P.S. I still love my LBBs...
