Looking for TechLevel 12(ish) warships

On DriveThru, the Ares Dragon is available as a PWYW item for MgT 1e. The ship is a TL12 800 dTon mercenary cruiser with a 20 dTon launch.

If you're willing to do conversions from GURPS, 101 Starships has far more than 101 starships, and the ones that are GTL9 would probably be the best for conversion, since they're roughly equivalent to TL 9 to 11 ships. GTL10 covers roughly TL 12 to 15, so the bottom end could align with what you're looking for, but it could take a lot of sifting through entries to find that bottom end. I'd start with the Rule of Man vessels in looking at GTL10 ships, since those would date back to the Second Imperium. One nice thing is that they do full breakdowns of the ship components at the back of the document, so even if you're not sure what the equivalent to a particular system would be, you can see how large it is in GT and find something similar in MgT.

GTL 10 is TTL 12; GTL 12 is TTL 14 and 15.

Again, thanks for all the feedback. I've now identified a theatre-of-war that I 'd like to stage this in. Well, that's a bit grandiloquent, let's call it a theatre-of-kerfuffle.
So, the backdrop will be a conflict between the Confederation of Duncinae and the Grand Duchy of Marlheim, in Reaver's Deep. Starting with a couple of incidents in neutral systems, and slowly escalating. The Duncineans will rope in some Aslan support, too, cloak-and-dagger style.
I've taken my baby steps with the MSExcellent sheet provided by AnotherDilbert (thanks muchly), and put together a TL10 Duncinean Frigate, going with the advice that ships from such statelets should go up to 20k dTons. That ship is to fulfill a long-range cruiser role. I'd be happy to have your feedback on what I missed and what can be improved.
Planning to use Dropfleet Commander models for visualisation, will post piccies once painted.

You really need a bigger computer, Core/50 is available at TL-10.

I'm not sure about the laser bays, I would probably use missile bays.

Nukes should reign supreme for smaller then spinal, but that’s a CT HG perspective.

Mongoose, lasers do more damage even than nuke missiles.

My rationale was: you don't need to carry reloads for lasers, thus you have a longer operational time.
