Can I get in on this?

I too would like to know how to get a copy of the History booklet as I have a copy of Imperium (1^st Edition) and thus don't have a copy of the history.

Don't know if this helps but RPG now as of last Friday was offering a whole lot of Traveller stuff including 3rd Imperium, Mayday, Azanti Hight Lightnign, Spinward Marches and a couple of other GDW Titles for Download. The kicker is, is that they are all in German.

Not all in German, some of the Spanish volumes too, and some English stuff. But I'm sure...

(oh, btw, not sure it's what you're looking for Magnus but there is a History of the Imperium section in the PDF for Imperium on the CT-CD and the download version on sale at DTRPG - a splash/title page, 6 info pages, and a map of the Imperium page circa AD1000.)

I've been able to close the History issue (the page is NOT missing, it's simply out of order)...

However, I really am looking to get a better scan of the game board for Marc...

The scan he is using is of the first edition board, not the second. We (both of us) can't find a second edition map... I could have sworn I had both boxed sets, but the second edition appears to have walked out of my house.

I'm VERY aware of the DTRPG sale. In our review of the CT CD-ROM issues, I never thought anything about the Imperium board... but now it's on my list. So, if you can assist me, e-mail me at don.mckinney@gmail.com.

For those in the know, is THIS German language book with the CT rules or some later edition? The reason I ask is that the careers mentioned ("Raumcaptain [Space Captain], Soldat [Soldier], Forscher [Researcher, Scientist], Spion [Spy], Pirat oder Scout") don't look like the careers in the LBB's that I've seen.

2e? Pirate is in Supp. 4, but I don't see Spy anywhere.

There are 2 editions of CT; they differ in details about SS combat and design, and a few details in a variety of other areas.

Thing is, I don't think that's a list of careers, as much as a list of character types... and the two are not synonyms. I've played pirate captains from the Navy, Pirate, and Merchant careers...

See, the text on DTRPG appears to be the "back cover text" or "Dust Jacket Overleaf text".
