It's not exactly Traveller related, but it is site related. I love the spell checker used by this site. It functions better than any other one I have used. Is it available to the public and if so, how can I get it?

Are you sure it's the site, and not your browser? My spell-checking evidently comes from Firefox as I type. ('Cause I sure don't see an icon for spell-checking in the Advanced Reply box.)

Thanks. When I went to download, it reported that it was already installed, but I don't remember doing it. Maybe it came with some update.

Is it only in IE? I just checked again, and no spell checker in the icons on the Advanced reply page. But, Firefox runs its own little spell-checker for me, anyway. (You just have to notice the little squiggly lines.... )

No spell checker button for me either and I'm also a Firefox user.

This is because you don't have your settings set on "advanced". You probably don't have the "smiles" to the right of your message box either. Go into your settings and set it for "advanced" instead of "basic". Then, you'll see the spell checker.

Nope - mine is set to "Standard Editor - Extra formatting controls", not "Basic". Setting to "Enhanced" doesn't seem to add anything to the controls. (And, I have the smilies, et al in my "Standard" setting.)
