Is an Intercept math spreadsheet out there?

OK...
So my players are on Ship A sitting snug in their starport cradle when a buzz comes in.

It is that nasty SPA calling saying that they need to "commandeer" my player's ship to run an in-system transport...
The deal is Tukera wants to dump a high roller who has pushed his luck too far as they transit the system to their local tender to refuel.

So the liner is proceeding from point a to point b and my players need to intercept them at point X along the liner flight path.
What I need is a spreadsheet that:
1) Helps me determine how long it will take for players to get to a given point X at zero V with a manuver rating of [variable]
2) How long will it take the Tukera liner to get to point x at current accelleration and course and just how fast is the ole Tuky moving at that point with a manuver of 1(the Mrating of a Long liner)
3) how long will it take the player's ship to accellerate up to matching velocity?

[Please ignore the bad spelling]

So is there a spreadsheet out there(or other application) that handles this?

If you ahve heard of such a thing(or have one working for you in captivity) please email me at:
commander.truestar@verizon.net

Thanks

Marc

I *think* that's

t = 2*SQRT(s/a)

t = time (s)
s = distance (m)
a = acc'n (m/s/s)

2) How long will it take the Tukera liner to get to point x at current accelleration and course

t = SQRT(2s/a)

and just how fast is the ole Tuky moving at that point with a manuver of 1(the Mrating of a Long liner)

10t m/s

3) how long will it take the player's ship to accellerate up to matching velocity?

Left as an exercise for the reader :)

Coming up with real values for these numbers may be fun (and appreciated by some gaming groups) but don't forget the other options...

It will take as long as you (the GM) need it to for story and scene setting purposes...

Fast enough to make the PC's lives interesting of course... :D
