As for me, most of my material exists either in hardcopy (I love working on Traveller with a paper and a pencil), in files on my computer or on these forums; I'll try to get any leftovers to these forums in order to prevent loss, but there are other discussions here that are very insightful. Is there truely no way to save these forums?
And what would happen to the T5 playtest if these forums die? I wanted to get myself to playtest it (by offering deckplan work in exchange for someone buying me into the CotI "moot") but it seems like this is no longer an option

We have alternate forums to use as boltholes as needed - that is covered. T20 is still being supported at Avenger Enterprises so that is covered. QLI is merely on hold - so that is covered.
As a backup to support this forum by paying the fees, I'll chip in a $10 at least, should it come to that.

Well, as a relative Newbie, I would chip in. Don't think that because we haven't been around since the beginning of this site that we don't want to contribute.
If we do pay the bill, is there any way that a new moderator or whatever can be assigned? NOT taking away from Hunter, but maybe someone else could be added for a while. I never met Hunter, never emailed him, he was gone before I got here, so obviously I am not the guy for that, but there must be plenty of others who could step in and not hurt Hunter's feelings too bad (if he would even care at this point).
