Hi, All,
I found this forum a while ago and have been lurking while I sift through posts of interest. Belated thanks for all of the ideas and good links to products and game aids.
I've been a fan of Traveller since about 1980, but I never got to play much until recently. I skipped Mega and 2300 when they came out. The Little Black Books still hold a lot of appeal but I've chosen TNE for my campaigns.
I'm currently running one with friends here in Pittsburgh and a solo campaign. And I plan to use Grip or some other RP software to run a campaign for buddies back in my hometown. I'm running these in adjoining subsectors to allow for some crossover between the groups where the actions of one may have effects on the others. So far I'm still in the ramping up stages getting folks used to their characters and learning the rules. But things look promising.
Anyway, I hope to better aquaint myself with you folks and thanks again for your great posts.
