Kree Question

I understand that the Kree anti-meateater thing is born out of their desire to be free of predators. However the vigour which they pursue it with goes beyond simply ridding themselves of what preys upon them specifically to ridding the universe of anything that preys upon anything.

This leads me to my question: Do Kree bikies wear leather jackets? If they do, are the jackets only made from the hides of meat eating animals?

By extension, do the Kree put butter on their toast?

I know nothing of how Kree* view such things.

The K'kree, however, are described as being rather nauseated by the smell of meat, the smell of recently-eaten meat in the mouths of carnivores or omnivores, and of the body odors of those beings which have a diet including meat.

Therefore, I think that leather would be not be very popular in their culture.

Milk is not the same as meat... they will have been nourished by their mothers on a milk-analogue, so butter & the like would be perfectly acceptable.

* The Kree, also known as the Ruul, are a scientifically and technologically advanced militaristic alien race in the fictional Marvel Universe. True Kree resemble humans almost exactly, with the exception of blue skin.

Actually, BB, the K'Kree are not actually mammals; they do not lactate, but feed you by regurgitation. (AM2 p3)

And at least one published bit shows them reacting just as nasty to xenomamals as to carnivores.

That might be an interesting cargo. Tf the characters arn't aware they are hauling K'Kree burgers it might prove err 'embarrassing'

Given the whole cannibilani/vegibilani thread set from both the TML and here back in the early days of this board.... probably only in sollie space.

I've had players with cannibal characters before... it's one of those wonky traits that can be generated by GC/WBH....

And once had two worlds J2 apart with one being cannibalistic, and the other with unusual funerary customs. Naturally, I decided that it was packaging the dead for the other world's consumption. Players go looking for freight, and upon loading that 60 ton lot of meat, read the label: Meat, Human, for human consumption. Keep container powered and/or connected to refrigerant system; container interior should be kept at 263 kelvin.

I need to re-read my AM2... I missed that the first time around.

Good thing the K'kree in the adventure I ran was a "psycho" refugee from "Thousand Worlds" space... long story, but he had become used to isolation & the company of carnivores... he was constantly making sure no other K'kree "came to take him away, haha".

Perhaps illogical to some minds but imaginable as sophants simply aren't logical.
