Just a fun, quick and dirty design in the spirit of FSY....

CGT Chandlery and Shipwrights proudly introduce the ‘Sylvan’-class yacht, for the noble or merchant prince who has everything....

Sylvan-class Yacht: Using a custom 800-ton hull, the Sylvan is designed to carry the owner and guests in unmitigated luxury. It mounts jump drive-M, maneuver drive-X, and power plant-X, giving it a performance of jump-3 and 6-G acceleration. Fuel tankage of 300 tons supports the power plant and allows up to one jump-3. Adjacent to the bridge is a model/3 computer. There are 33 various-sized staterooms and no low-berths. There are four hardpoints, though no tonnage has been specifically allocated to fire-control. There are two ship’s vehicles: a high-performance 20-ton launch and an 8-ton air/limo. Luggage/cargo capacity is 25 tons.
The Sylvan requires a crew of 10: pilot, co-pilot, navigator, 2 stewards and 5 engineers. There is space for an additional 12 members of staff. Prototype design includes the following: 1 10-ton owner’s suite; 10, 6-ton guest suites; 1 30-ton dining/kitchen area; 1 40-ton Main Lounge; 1 15-ton Library; 1 10-ton Spa/sauna. There are 40-tons allocated to crew’s quarters and 48-tons allocated to quarters for the staff of the owner and guests. Cost is approximately 500 Mcr. There will be no discounts allowed, since each craft will be hand-crafted to each owner.

One question, streamlined hull or not? I'd guess yes, and bet it looks fast even sitting on the starport pad

ohhh....thanks Dan! forgot about that....hmmm....I think I'll go with streamlining, maybe looking like a scaled-down Kinunir...with racing stripes and some kind of grand-stairway that comes down when on a landing pad.

FSY = Familie Spofulum Yards (sp). I forget who started it, but they were/are a poster to the TML specializing in guns, vehicles, battledress and spaceships....all out-sized, over-powered and trimmed in lanthanum and diamonds <G>.

Unkie says for me to look at your nice yacht. But but but I think it it neeeds a wittlittle something, so so so here is a hunting laser for your nice yacht. Only it's supposed to be attached to the spine, um um but it it's not a spinal weapon cause it's not a big enough ship.

It it it's a TL15 design, it uses a soft X ray, with um it has a 20cm focal diametr, so so so it can shoot about twenty thousnd kilometer-wometers out. An an an it only takes a little bit more than 4 EPs, so so your yacht is okay cause it genewates 48 EPs right?

An an an it's a little less than 18m long, so so so it'll fit along the spiney winey, or or or it can be fixed to the roof.

Oh an an the cost it's only 25 megacwedits, an only dispwaces 5 tonnie wonnies. But but since it's fixed you hafta turn the whole ship to fire it, an an you can only go 5 G's if if when you fire it. Okaaay? Oh an it outputs 1000 megawegajoules.

At worst, I'll chew a bunch of gum and we can stick it to the side of the ship....gonna be hell on the aero-dynamics though!

Hmmmm.....maybe we could attach some thrusters to the gun and store it in the cargo bay....and launch it at rivals....I mean, at nobbles....herds of them!

Mister Ruche, maybe just a little stweeeamlining an an fitting it to to the hull like a Sollllomannie fixed gunny wunny? An an an it um the ship stays streamlined, but but maybe not airy-wary-framed though?
