I hate nitpicking about this, but why is it the ugly 'glow-in-the-dark' version? Is there something preventing them from re-issuing the original Leif?

Who knows, glow in the dark used to be considered a cool thing back in the day. I'll be priming and painting mine to exquisite detail anyway.

Hmmmm, maybe get 2 and then I could do a Mac Arthur as it looked in the beginning of the book when it was banged up from a battle? Proly better not, I have so many models as it is that at my current rate of completion half of them will end up in my will still in the box.

But then....with some extra tubing, styrene, and kit I could maybe make the ISS Lenin .....hmmmmm

You can easily paint colors over the GitD version; given a few weeks, and clear-part conversions will be available.
