General Looking for 28mm Starship Crew miniatures

Spinward Scout

SOC-14 5K
Hey, does anyone know of any 28mm Starship Crew miniatures? I'm just looking for cheap ones, but more expensive ones would be cool, if I can afford them.

I have checked and not found any Traveller Miniatures. Does anyone have the files for 3D printing? Most of the files/images are for DnD or War Hammer.

2nd Dynasty did a set of 28mm Traveller miniatures with their recent Scout Ship campaign - I don't know if still available or not. I would suspect they do additional ones in 2023 with the planned Beowulf release.

Because most of them are in 15 mm. Between GZG, RAFM and Darkest star pretty much got your bases covered.
Ok, I have. been slowly painting up some 25/28mm figures from Ground Zero Games.

Below are the Spaceship Crew figures sans the VaccSuit with Laser.

Ok, I fell off the 15mm wagon this year.

A good source of a bunch of figures cheap-ish, look at the Stargrave plastics, they work out to about $1.50 per. I would post pictures but mine are still in the initial construction phase and the plastic is too dark to photograph well.

Thank you
For anyone looking for the 2nd Dynasty STLs,

Ok, where can you get prints, and for how much?

Cheep was one of the questions asked, and most prints trend towards GW per figure costs.
I've seen some people selling prints of the figures on Etsy and Ebay (presumably they have merchants licences from 2nd Dynasty to do so) but have no idea what prices they are selling them for.

In terms of "cheap", the Stargrave plastic miniatures are probably top of the list, although they may not be able to cover High TL troopers. I've seen not-quite-Vargr models done using heads from the Frostgrave Gnolls pack. I believe that the Frostgrave and Stargrave figures can also mix-and-match with parts from some of their other plastic figure ranges.

Depends on how you build them, the Troopers box looks like it would cover Combat Armor/Battledress. But Not the Bulky Powered Armor that some people think Battledress is... (but that really is a whole other topic).

But yes the Stargrave plastics are great cheap starting point. I'll add the Wargames Atlantic Cannon Fodder boxes in addition as base parts for technical crew/VaccSuited figs with a judicious choice of bits from the Stargrave sets.

Sure, make me stare at the half finished set of those on my desk... I got a box of the Grenadier Traveller Adventurers, a passel of em4 Spacelords Characters and GZG's Paramedics and Colonial Security ahead of them, but they are on the desk. (And yet I am typing and not painting... Go figure)

You can find 3d print services online,
Cost will vary by volume.
For example a Hiver mini in resin from Craftcloud will cost $14.23 for a single mini, $29.40 for 10. So there are economies of scale.
