Looking for Traveller Miniatures

I am looking for the 15mm Traveller miniatures by Martian Metals (I think that who is made them); especially the adventurers and Vargr. If anyone has them and would like to sell them or know where I can find them please let me know. You can contact me at: lengland9702@yahoo.com

Thank You,
Larry

Martial Metals did make 15mm miniatures for Traveller. You can see pics of some here.

Citadel also produced 15mm figures for Traveller. Many (including myself) consider them to be superior. You can see some of theirs here.

You can usually find them on ebay. If you are looking for generic SF in 15mm, you really should consider Ground Zero Games. Excellent minis. Excellent service.

Larry, one word, EBAY.... That is where I got most of mine.

The Citadel/RAFM figures are much better than the Martian Metals. Citadel/RAFM are the only source of Traveller specific aliens in 15mm.

Ground Zero Games makes a sizable line of 15mm figures both human and aliens, and the line is growing. The vehicles in the line are very nice also.

Rebel Miniatures makes great Ultra-modern humans, they just brought out some grey type aliens that are outstanding.

That is a start for suppliers for 15mm. The real problem is that 15mm fell out of favor in the late 80's about the same time Martian Metals burned down and Citadel came out with there own "space" game. Couple this with the generally lackluster sales of Traveller figures.

Ok, one of the issues is most of the "Traveller" lines of figures have been small, and it's hard to tell if there relative modest sales are lack of interest or lack of breath within the line. Though from the prices on Ebay there seems to be some demand.

Traveller 15mm Miniatures

Thanks for the replies. I thought Citadel/Rafm went "out of business". I knew Martian Metals wasn't around anymore. I have a few of the 25mm NAC troopers from Ground Zero. I piced up a few of the Micro Machine figures which work well with Traveller for "battle armor" troops. Still was looking for some regular adventurers.

Thanks again.

Sincerely,
Larry

I have some Martian Metals Miniatures

K'kree Military TL10-12 Cloth Armor #2023 1ea
K'kree Citizens #2024 3ea
K'kree Military TL10-12 #2017 2ea
Beast of Burden #2015 1ea

The Beast of Burden has a female? rider.

Citadel and Rafm are two separate companies that jointly produced the Traveller figures. Citadel in the UK and Europe, RAFM in North America. As for who did the masters that is still a question.

Neither is out of business, Citadel is now a arm of Games Workshop.

RAFM is still alive and well in Canada.

GZGs does a wide range of 25mm figures. Many of which fit the "Adventure" mold.
