Has anyone coded Mal's tables?

I just need to input a UWP and get an output of the Star Characteristics.

(Just askin' before I spin my own...)

Flynn has, I know that.

Though if you just want to put in one UWP, you may as well just use the tables directly. They're not THAT hard to use!

Yeah, mine is tied to my sector-based UWP mapping application, so it would be a little difficult to decouple. I could send you the code this weekend, however, if it would help.

But as Mal said, if you're doing only one world, you don't need to bother. Mal's method is pretty straightforward and easy to use.

Thread Hijacked

What would be nice is a utility that accepts a UWP line and produces a Revised version. I envision this utility being distributed in two pieces:

(1) A package which can be used by another program.

(2) A command-line tool which can be used by a person, or (in the case of UNIX) invoked from another program.
