Fascinating. I'm still not sure if I've found the Chevrons on Google Earth yet but Madagascar has some great satellite imagery.

When I went digging for more info Dr. Abbot's home page was effectively locked out due to the amount of attempted hits on it. Talk about unintentional DoS flooding.
