MgT2300 Vehicle Weapon Ranges

Do the vehicle weapons in 2300AD use the weapons range modifiers on page 65 of the Traveller Core Rules? The 2300 book includes more distant range bands for vehicle weapons but no modifiers. On page 69 of the 2300 book there is a chart with modifiers for weapon ranges but based on TL, not type. From this one would gather than a 20mm gatling gun would have the same range effects as a 120mm main gun of the same era. Are the ranges listed for each weapon the max range, and the modifiers based on TL replacing the range mods from core Traveller?

Sorry to bump this thread but Id appreciate it if somebody could give me their opinion.

After further reading I can see that the chart on MgT2300 page 169 (not 69 as in my original post) if for sensors, not weapon attacks.. but whats with the Tech Level rows? It starts at TL3-4 and goes up through 15-16? 2300AD is tech level 9-mayb 12 or so as I understand it and what kind of sensors are in use at tech level 3 anyway? Is this a mistake of some kind?

But back to weapons. On page 65 of CT we have the range effects of various weapon categories. On page 170 of MgT2300 we have a chart showing an extension of those range bands for vehicle weapons but no modifiers. Lastly around page 181 of MgT2300 we are given a few examples of vehicle weapons but they list their range as a range band. Is this a maximum range? Are there no modifiers for range for vehicle weapons?

Ok, well Ill just wing it. I guess nobody uses vehicle weapons in their game!
