Minor Polities and Atlas of the Imperium

I was looking at the sector data for Reaver's Deep and Dark Nebula in Atlas of the Imperium (1984) when I realized that several minor polities are demarcated with unique allegiance codes not identified anywhere in the supplement. For example, Dark Nebula has the allegiance codes "uh" and "go," but there's no accompanying description.

Both polities are shown on the current Traveller Map as the "Union of Harmony" and "Gerontocracy of Ormine." I've always assumed that these interstellar governments had been created by DGP, but the timeline doesn't really line up. DGP was founded in 84, and none of the principals are credited in AotI.

Maybe DGP named these polities but someone else must have established the borders. Marc, maybe? Was a key for these minor polities ever published prior to DGP?

DGP's polity names for these polities were:

UH = Ulane Hierate
GO = Gerontocracy of Ormine
(elsewhere called Gyj-nuah 'Oew (Perhaps the native-language name of the Gerontocracy of Ormine))

Published? Probably not. Reaver's Deep was the province of the Far Traveller project, which was the Keith brothers. Their material was published later by Paul Sanders as Cargonaut Press, but existed, IIRC, prior to DGP's visit. Far Traveller replaced High Passage as the FASA-orbiting magazine for Traveller, but FASA themselves had already headed out spinward by then, to Dale Kemper's Far Frontiers. The Reaver's Deep material that did see print early on did so under the Gamelords imprint, as the Environment books and their attached adventures.
