CT Only: Missile turret ready reloads

SOC-14 1K
Hello all,

I am trying to find the source that provides the number of missiles available to a single rack. My vague recollection is that one is ready to launch and three additional missiles in a magazine ready to be fed on the launch mechanism.

Can anyone supply the source document please?

Good Eventin (CEST) Tom,

TTB, page 76/LBB2 page 32:
Reloading: Each launcher (sand or missile) has an inherent capacity for three missiles or canisters. This means that a triple turret with three missile launchers has a total of 9 missiles in ready position.

Is that what you're looking for?

I was just about to post that - so instead I will add:
MISSILE STORAGE
Each standard missile rack can hold one missile ready to fire and two additional
missiles ready for future game turns.
The standard turret has room to store an additional 12 missiles in it. Once these
missiles have been used, the turret must be restocked with missiles carried elsewhere
in the ship (usually in the cargo hold).
SS3 Missiles.
Note that these additional 12 missiles are not per launcher but are per turret, and the gunner has to load them into the launcher before they can be used.

I imagine there are loading mechanisms to help with the ammunition transfer that fold out of the way when not in use. Just my 0.02 Credits worth. I could even see them being automated where the gunner is just pushing the reload button, but otherwise being out of anything to do that round while the equipment works. The turret may even have to be in "traveling" mode while said loading takes place, locked to the rear and zero elevation.

Howdy Mike Wightman,

I was just about to post that - so instead I will add:

Note that these additional 12 missiles are not per launcher but are per turret, and the gunner has to load them into the launcher before they can be used.

Thank you for the information from SS3.
