Researchers at IBM have released images they've made of graphene molecules. Now, my involvement in microelectronics means I get to see cool micrographs pretty regularly.
But this just blows me away:

The freaking bond types can be distinguished in the molecules (the little yellowish bars in the green hexes are double bonds, if I'm reading it correctly, and the green bars are single bonds.
Amazing stuff.
