Music for Travellers

In that wierd category of Classical Electronic Ambience, give "Born" by the British, uh, "girl group" Bond (I use quotes because they're all in their mid-20's, and they play violins, viola, and cello or base...) a listen. A good chunk of the album feels like it came off of movie or anime soundtracks, but you can never quite pin down which ones...

NO, NO, NO !...

Music has nothing to do with ERA you play in...classic, mega, whatever...

Music is for the KIND of game you play...is it fighter jocks dancing with corsiars?...then music that relfects that mood...like that song from from the tom cruise movie...

...choose you STYLE of game and then choose music....

hmmm...anyone see see 'dances with vargr'? and if so, do you let him lead?

For our group it was Raiders of the Lost Ark!

Although the other two Indy film soundtracks are pretty good too.

As odd as this may sound, I tend to associate Traveller with 18th and 19th century folk music - I guess this stems from the old nautical "feel" of traders, gunboats, communication at travel speeds, distant outposts, etc.
