Welcome to the new COTI server. We've moved the Citizens to a new server. Please let us know in the COTI Website issue forum if you find any problems.
We, the systems administration staff, apologize for this unexpected outage of the boards. We have resolved the root cause of the problem and there should be no further disruptions.
LOL! I have known that from waaay back when they discovered the martian rock in Antarctica. IIRC they said it came from an Olympus Mons eruption and was full of "what could be" microbial fossils and the chemicals needed for life.
Aaaaand they keep finding meteorites with either the chemicals necessary for life, or more recently, "what could be" microbial algal fossils.
Scientists are just being cautious to a fault announcing finding life, or its remains, from off-Earth.
Besides, if life isn't everywhere out there in the universe, it's a really horrid waste of space.
