New CT materials

I was wondering who has publishing rights to do new CT materials?

Commercially, only Far Future Enterprises.

Non-commercial fan works: Anyone who cares to, provided they don't charge for them. See the Developer's pack from Mongoose for more details

Both the Avenger and QLI licenses have expired.

Thanks but it does seem Mongoose might be able to produce new stuff. hmmmm

You asked who can produce new material for "CT" - Classic Traveller. See Aramis' reply.

If you are asking who can produce new material for the "Traveller" license, then yes, see Mongoose. It's NOT CT though.

Not for CT. As Dean notes, MGT isn't CT, and really, isn't any closer to CT than MT was.

For CT, ONLY FFE. But that's because FFE is Marc Miller.

And, at the moment, there are two licensees: Mongoose (who get to do their edition, and print T5 when Marc decides it's ready), and SJG (who get to do GT only - and have two versions of GT - one in the CT era, and on in the Interstellar wars era).

And the version that SJG is doing now is GTIW - the Interstellar Wars era. They do have a big backlog of material that's alternate post-CT timeline.

I picked up the GT IW book several years back (a good read it was too). You give the impression they have developed it further, if so I'm interested, but cannot spot anything new on the GT product list (which has been static for, errr, a while...)

Can you elaborate?

JTAS online has been the source of continued support.

At around 4,000 to 8,000 words a fortnight it works out around one e-sup every two months. Pretty darn good, don't think any other of their product lines get that level of support.
