When you open a ship it will automatically recalculate the design. However, due to the error, the design may no longer be "valid" (the error was in space calculations) and you might have to make some manual alteration. Its only going to affect two types of ships: 1) Those under 1000Td carrying big craft (subcraft 100Td+) and 2) Ships with dispersed structure (configuration 7) carrying subcraft.

What I do is create a TCS file with one of every design, then run through them all looking at the USP to see which ones need fixing.

Anyone more than me that have big problems running this program?

As soon as I try to change one value it screams back at me that it is illegal. Entering 10000 in 'tons' gets me 5 alerts telling me it is out of bounds!

Uhmmm. Is the error something like "Index out out of bounds(0)"? That indicates a counter problem (either an overrun or an empty list). This might be being caused by a date conversion error. Try deleting the "licence.txt" and the "CopyNote" files from the directory and see if that has any effect.

If not, email me at a.vallance@netaccess.co.nz and I'll see if I can get to the bottom of it. I suspect it will be a regional setting issue so it could be a little tricky to pin down.
