Orders of Nobility?

Hi All,
Does anyone have any Orders of Nobility?
Also does anyone have background information about what rank of Imperial noble would be in the particular order and why?
For instance, Order of the Starship and the Crown (OSC), Order of the Starship and the Sceptre (OSS).
I am sure there are others...
Thanks!

Orders are usually a Knighthood thing. Higher titles can also be Knights of a particular Order, but it is the Knighthood, traditionally, that is associated with an Order.

There have been many, both official and not, published over the years.

"Starship and Crown" sounds more like an exclusive Club to me. Found on Capital, Domain capitals, sector capitals, and a handful of other worlds.

IIRC there are Orders for each Domain and most Sectors. This means you won't get a Domain Order behind the Claw until the Rebellion Era, most likely, as there had never been an Archduke in the region before.

OEG. Order of the Emperor's Guard.

Those psionic Orders from DGP. I forget the names. Long since disbanded, supposedly.

The GURPS Traveller Nobles book has a bunch. YMMV.

There is a list of some of the Orders in the Mongoose Library Data. Not sure if I can copy it and post it here though. There is a separate one for explorers, and also one for Aslan and one for Vargr. The Library Data indicates that there are several dozen orders of knighthood established.

There are also a few ethno-cultural orders. Supp. 11 gives a list of some...

The most common orders of knighthood in the lmperium are the Order of the
Emperor's Guard, established in 52 and originally limited to the Emperor's personal
retainers but now of wide and diverse membership, and the Order of Starship and
Crown, established in 17. More exclusive orders have also been established: the
Order of Hlyuea (established to honor loyal Aslan citizens), the Order of Gvadakoung
(established to honor loyal Vargr citizens), and the Honorable Order of the Arrow,
(established to recognize interstellar explorers). The domains each have orders named
for them: The Order of Antares, the Order of Vland, the Order of Sylea, the Order
of Sol, the Order of the Gateway, and the Order of Deneb. Of these, the Order of
Sylea is administered by the Emperor himself (as de facto Archduke of Sylea); the
Order of Deneb has never been used, as no Archduke of Deneb has ever been named.

I guess you talk here about the Order of the White Star, that appeared in the adventures in TD 14-17, disbanded while the Psionic Supressions.

Some of the orders of knighthood have articles on the wiki. Some are missing:

Some of the information given is IMO extremely iffy (particularily when it comes to numbers), but in deference to Vladika's tender nerves I will refrain from going into detail.

Also, there are indications that Marc Miller is going to revise the previous view of the Imperial nobility, but just how is currently very vague, only implied by various T5 rules.
