Ortega's Torch

I referenced Heinlein's Time for the Stars in this thread and went looking for info on the internet, and was reminded that the technology was called "Ortega's Torch", which is a slightly less magical version of the Epstein Drive from The Expanse.

I found this page which goes into a lot of detail about what a "Torch Drive" would require and just thought I'd share here. This seemed like the right forum to me. Apologies if there was a better spot!

Torch ships are mentioned in Triplanetary and Belter. While neither are considered canonical Traveller games both have influenced the rules and setting.
