Other Worlds

G'Day Guys,

I have been looking throught he net on what is involved in making a planet habitable. I found a very interesting read called "The Astrobiology Primer: An Outline of General Knowledge—Version 1, 2006". It can be found on the following url:
http://www.liebertonline.com/doi/pdfplus/10.1089/ast.2006.6.735

It is a cross discipline approach. Each section is written by an expert in it's topic. There are further references to check out at the end of each section.

I found it pretty fertile for ideas about what other planetary options there are.

Justin.

You know, this is one of the things that I always liked about Traveller, and especially Traveller gamers - the way the game links back to real life and real knowledge. I've gotten a much broader intro to chemistry, biology, astronomy, physics etc. from Traveller than I ever did in school. Having said that, this paper looks daunting - 79 pages of scientific terms definitely not written for non-scientists. I'll give it a go all the same, to see what I can learn from it to make my TU better and more developed. Thanks for the link!

Cheers,

Bob W.
