General Pak-Pak

Pak-Pak
5kg scavenger. Lives in packs of 6-36 in amongst the boles of a Dream Tree.
These small creatures are brightly coloured as they are poisonous to eat.
They are very fearful despite their protections

Dream Tree
Complex multi-trunked shrubs of 20-30m tall when fully grown. These trees grow sharp, hollow hairs that emit an hallucinogenic/soporific substance that induces those that brush the plant and absorb the substance (directly or by breathing it in) to fall asleep and become prey to the Pak-Pak that inhabit the plant's hollow trunks. (Or just dies of dehydration if no Pak-Pak are present).

A standard filter mask and ordinary protective overalls with hood and gloves is adequate protection from this deadly tree.

n.b. The plant's leaves are (apparently) of just the right size and texture for use as lavatory paper - The adventurous outdoors type should beware!

nice flavor. thanks.

A Traveller Bestiary/plant book could be an interesting endeavor. The JTAS has a few scattered entries, and I am sure the Wiki has a few. But an actual PDF of the compiled materials would be interesting. Hmm, maybe yet another never-to-be-completed project for me to start :)

Please expand on these and submit them to Freelance Traveller (Pak-Pak for Less Dangerous Game, Dream Tree for Fascinating Flora).
