Peacekeeper guns

These guns use multitasking bullets to perform multiple effects. Gun belt holds 100 rounds and feeds into gun.

The Peacekeeper gun comes with an instruction disk. Basically there is a series of switches that can choose what rounds to use.

Each bullet can do the following:

1. HEAP

2. Tranq

3. Smoke

4. Explosive

5. Shrapnel

6. Flare

Also the handle has a laser drill that can only be used to cut things.

Peacekeeper guns are TL20, and hard to find. Should cost about 3Mcr each if for sale.

Think of "Judge Dread"'s Lawgiver gun, only without the voice commands.

How about the Sandman Gun - looks like a colt .45 double-action fast-draw revolver in silver:

Six shots, choosable before firing:

1)Gas
2)flechette
3)HE
4)HEAP
5)A round of hardeneing steel goop that forms a net-like strike on the target
6) A heat-seeker round keyed to the average body temp -/+ 2 degrees. Then hits for HEAP damage, electrically searing the nerve-endings of the target.

Also, a 'keyed' gun - will explode if not in the right hand.

As I slowly transcribe my CT notes from gaming between '80 - '89, I'll try to add some of the more interesting (less ludicrous?) gadgets that our merry MSU gang came up with...

'Laser-in-a-can'
Common, low-tech shaving cream can, which actually dispersed shaving cream. There was a one-shot laser device that fired through the nozzel, if it was turned *just* the right way. NOT commonly availible!

'Ultraglue rounds'
Some of us were getting into reloading of real ammo, and that spurred the development of many odd loading for Traveller weapons. The most popular was Ultraglue 12ga. shotgun rounds. If you've ever stuck your fingers together with ordinary TL7 superglue, think about how naaaasty a TL15 version would be! They were loaded into custom gel cases, and then inserted into normal-seeming 12ga. rounds.

We normally tried to use them on our opposition's weaponry; without the correct solvent to remove the ultraglue, they would wind up with very deadly hardware that was stuck in it's holsters (or stuck on 'SAFE'). We weren't even trying to be politically correct back then; we were just having a good time!

sounds like the Tangler weapons in GURPS. These fire large blobs of quick drying glop
(think giant spider web) that incapcitates
or freezes your target. You purchase "antidote" spray separately
