Psi Ops

I am interested in finding out how many have run/played in where the PC's are Psionic Operatives, striking out against various organizations, Imperial or not.

IMTU it is called "The Enclave". It is only active around the Spinward Marches, especially around District 268 and the areas near there. Rumors are that The Enclave does not get along with the Zho's but will "cooperate" if the objective is worth it.

The GURPS Sword Worlds book details one such organisation: the Valkyjar.

While the SW culture is not keen on psionics as such they were never part of the imperium so never suppressed it and had one Psi Institute on Sacnoth which had close links with SW intelligence services.

The institute was destroyed (presumably by covert imperial action) in 1109 and surviving operatives founded a rogue psionist terrorist organisation called the Valkyjar to wage a campaign of assassination against the Imperial occupiers of former Sword Worlds and their SW collaborators.

Book doesn't have a Valkyjar campaign as such but does have a longish write-up on the groups leader and some flavour text.

Sound like the sort of people your Enclave could either be hired to liquidate or want to establish closer links to.
