It was pulled late in the game. The listing with the other below the text was fixed but apparently we missed the reference in the text itself.

</font>[/QUOTE]Ok, so are you saying that Psioncs are not in the D20 Travellers handbook that is 400+ pages or that it is not in the Traveller Lite?

I guess that is just what you are saying. I am pretty disapointed about that since all the marketing material still talks about full psionicst rules. Am I missing something, like perhaps the prestige class was pulled but not the chapter on Psionics in general?

Their are full psionic rules in the handbook. This post refers to a prestige class for psionics that was removed from the handbook at the last moment put is still mentioned in the text.

Hope this helps.

There is a WHOLE chapter on Psionics.
There just no specific CLASS in the book that is just solely a psionic class.

Psionics are not something someone pursues as a profession. Psionics is secretive due to societal intolerance in the official travller settings.

Will there be a Psionic prestige class in the future? Yes, in most probability.
Will there be more Psionic rules to add to those in the THB?
Yes, in most probability.

I hope that clears it up.

The Psionics rules are very good looking actually.

They recreate the feel (and expense of psionics) but still allow a character to pursue them.

Psionics eat up a LOT of feats and no small amount of skill points so that the pottentially game imbalancing cool powers are not anywhere near as close to making uber characters.

i still would like to see a psion class or perhaps a prestige class..... need em for the Zhos!

If you ask nicely, they could offer to post the psionic character class and prestige class as preview for a future psionic supplement and web enhancement online. :D

Raging newbie here, but couldn't one use classes from the core D20 Psionics handbook or some of the other D20 stuff out there??

I don't play Star Wars but I imagine some of those wierd force classes would probably make decent frames for psionic classes in T20???

I have a class construction tool I use for writing material in my homebrews if anyone is interested.

That depends, BluWolf. Are the classes from PsiHB more compatible with the psionics rule mechanics presented in the T20: The Traveller's Handbook?

Sorry Reginald, I don't have the book yet.

No availability yet and no players in my area to justify the $45.

Just sort of thinking out loud.

The PsiHB rules may not be compatible, but you could almost certianly use the classes as inspriation for building a PSI class for Traveller.

Of course I don't see the need, but...

Well, I need to see what type of psionic rules T20 have before I could even compare to the PsiHB (yeah, I have a copy), as soon as my book comes in the mail.
