Characters: skills roughly the same range and numbers. Skill lists differ in profound ways, but the characters can be cross-used almost as is. Stats same range and pretty much same distribution post-career.
Personal Combat Damages are pretty close to CT 1E damages.
Personal combat armor: adjust AV from relevant type.
Ship systems: most CT ones have MGT analogues.
Armor values have same ranges and limits.
Power plants for adventure class ships may need to be larger, due to the funky power rules, than comparable CT-HG designs if anything but lasers are mounted; many larger ships will need LESS power plant, due to lack of both Agility power and weapons individual power.
