Repairs of damaged systems and feats

from T20 handbook pg. 5:
Jury Rig
The character is quite handy at.........
Benefit: When attempting a fast, temporary repair, the character must make an appropriate skill check (dc 12 + required RP per Block)......

HUH?!!!!
what are RP, what are Blocks, and why is the jury rig feat the only freaking place these things are even mentioned?

Honestly- this needs an answer. Y'all will go on and on over the most insignificant details and ignore this one? HUH?

I think the RP thing was something removed before publication but not all references were deleted/changed.

You'll find the same RP reference in the Miracle Worker feat too.

Change them to read:

Jury Rig: When attempting a fast, temporary repair, the character may make an appropriate skill check without penalty for lack of proper parts. If successful, the system is temporarily repaired by 1 factor. This feat can only be used once per damaged system until fully repaired.

Miracle Worker: When attempting a temporary repair the character may make an appropriate skill check. If successful the damaged system is temporarily repaired to its original rating less one factor. This feat can only be used once per damaged system until fully repaired. Add +2 to the skill check roll if the character has the Damage Control feat.

Thanks Dunryc :)

I'd meant to dig up that answer when shadowdragon bumped the thread but got distracted. Sorry shadowdragon, and I don't know how your question got missed the first time around. At least I don't recall seeing it then. I hope the summary and link answer your question sufficiently. I notice the link on the old thread is broken (after a site host change all the older thread links to other CotI threads are broken). I very often named my own links after the thread title so a search for that may work.
