Posters should--

(A) Reference CT Magazines and Sources appropriate to the header.

(B) Share original CT work appropriate to the header.

(C) Provide links to useful threads in the CT forum appropriate to the header.



Please keep the material Classic Traveller oriented. For example, equipment from MegaTraveller would be appropriate because it is 100% compatible with Classic Traveller. But weapons from MT sources should not be cited as they do not include Classic Traveller stats.

Alternate Robot Design Rules

Dragon Magazine #64 presents design rules for Robots in your games. This was printed pre-Book 8. The design system itself is a pretty good system--not as complicated as Book 8. I'd compare it to Book 2 starship construction. If you find it easy to slap a starship together using Book 2, then you'll find it easy to make a quick, workable robot for your game using these rules.

rules.

Space Gamer 15 (Jan 1978, so it predates the excellent JTAS articles) is worthwhile reading.

The Imperial Staple (another fanzine, from AUG '86) includes an article building upon Book 8 by discussing robot agility.

Traveller Chornicle #1 (summer 1993) has a brief article about EGOR -- the tramp merchant's mechanical friend.

Signal GK #10 (~1995) talks about androids and references Ronald E. Moore's classic article on the subject.
