Safari Ship Junior

Just curious if anyone has incorporated the Flying Sub, from the TV series Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea, into their respective TUs ?

It does share as similar design as the Safari Ship so perhaps could be reworked as a small craft, easily a ship's boat or gig.

Yes, I have something 'very similar' as a 5dT two-seat HG2 small-craft. More robust (and expensive) than an air-raft. Less cargo space, but it'll 'Fly me to the Moon'.

It's on my list for revamped deckplans - one day.

Loved that thing as a kid!

Going back to the OP's question - anyone else use the two-seat flying saucer? If so, how big is it, what is it used for?

Another thought might be the the flying sub design could be a submitted but not adopted variant for the Scout service, perhaps manufactured by the same corporation of the Animal Class fame vessel.

The addition-inclusion of a pair of drive nacelles could uprate the size to the needed 100t to be achieve starship status, not a major rework of the FS's hull for such a refit.
