Simulated

All these arguments and debates goin' on in the ranks -- DVD ownership, politics, war, D20 vs CT vs MT vs GT -- and the really important stuff isn't being discussed.

Such as: How do YOU pronounce Cymbeline?

I pronounce it "SIM-b'leen" (making "Cym" short for a Cymbeline native AND/OR a "simulation person") though I've heard it pronounced a couple o' other ways.

Heck, I'm tempted to make this a poll. (Where IS that dratted "Poll" button?)

SIM/be/lean* for myself. A poll would be a good idea but how do you come up with all the variations? Maybe collect a few here and then take a measure of the preferred?

* But that might come from an early misread or typo or something
it was a while ago, the CT adventure and Solomani Rim stuff.

I suppose that I should mention that I can't read the word "Cymbeline" without hearing it to music -- yes, the jingle of the old (1969?) Maybelline commercial. ("Cymbeline makes beautiful eyes; Cymbeline.") This undoubtedly prejudices the way I pronounce the word.

That might be where I was getting my pronunciation clues too come to think of it
