My first years playing AD&D & Traveller (Champions, Gamma World, etc) were with a 100% active-duty USMC*/USMC spouse group - very interesting play style!
* Air wing Marines (mostly electronics/electrical specialists), a very different group than ground-combat Marines would have been - then we started playing with active-duty USN people aboard ship...
