snub submachinegun?

I have a copious spreadsheet of equipment and couldn't find an exact match.

Alien Star 5 had a laser submachinegun and White Dwarf 33 had a submachine pistol.

Try the Real World Czech Skorpien machine pistol, firing the .32 ACP cartridge, or in some variants the .380 ACP cartridge. Both those cartridges are at the borderline for an effective self-defense cartridge, but with an 850 rounds per minute, or 14 rounds per second, multiple body hits in a short time are possible.

T4 Emperor's Arsenal has it IIRC (will check) and Mongoose Traveller Mercenary possibly will include it it.

Note that it is pretty easy to cobble together the CT stats by combining the snub pistol and smg - look at how LKW showed how to make a laser pistol.

Off hand, I don't recall the exit velocity of a snub bullet, we only know the end result, which is very low recoil on what must be a fast burning powder in a rather short barrel.

Then you have the cylinder gap for the revolver variant.

How low would the rate of fire be so that recoil wouldn't be a factor for the submachine gun variant?

Remember snub weapons have the same projectile speed as a paintball gun.

Note taking round weight and general density of explosives a Snub round would look a lot like a nerd dart.

Did that already - it's just bugging me because I'm sure I've seen it but I can't place where!

A symptom of TMB*, I guess. :(
