So will this ever be published?

My in-box also recieved the above pdf's. I've got to say that the pdf's that we recieved are obviously not the finished item (my contribution has yet to be placed) but even they will please the ardent 2300AD fan. The info is succinct and to the point (a refreshingly concise read), the global maps are good (as a map artist they're something I pay close attention to), the history timeline extrapolation is fantastic! NO-ONE will be disappointed with this I'm sure!
Compared with 2300's 'pick-a-page and hope' arrangement I think it's a stroke of genius to segregate the sections into 7 books/chapters.
well done guys. I honestly believe, and i don't say this lightly, that Mr. John Andrew Keith would be proud.
Any of your material will appear in Ted's final version, AFAIK. Thank you on the maps. I did them
And thank you for your good review of the writing. Hopefully, soon others will be able to see it too.

And as for the late Mr. Keith, I would like to think so, too.

Soon. Hunter is just having some trouble with the vehicle and starship stat blocks: too much stuff. (This was yesterday AM). He is pretty much good to go once we get that figured out.

Easy remeddy:
Take 1 keg of beer, drink empty
if it still does not make sense,
Drink 1 bottle of Vodka.
If that still does not work,
put on your glasses.

I'm just reviewing the final copy of the initial release. It looks good. 366 pages of stuff. Good stuff, I think. It should be available soon. Light on illustrations for the moment, but that was to be expected for this version.

Is there a plan for a final dead tree version?

Will the ships of the French Arm be converted to 2320

thanks for your hard work Colin.

Mike

To the best of my knowledge, yes, there will eventually be a dead-tree version.
This PDF version is an initial release, without much of the artwork. Ted Lindsey is working on the final version, which incorporates artwork, new layout, more artwork, deckplans, and the like. This version will be released as PDF/POD, and will be version that eventually goes to a full print run. PDF/POD sales go towards paying the artists and financing the print run. If you purchase the initial version, you will get a copy of the final version (PDF ) free of charge. I don't know if that entitles you to a discount on the print copy, though.

Ships of the French Arm? Well, there are a series of "Ships of..." books on the planning table, along with smaller books detailing one specific ship and providing an adventure to go along with it.

OK. Hunter added a bit more artwork (some of my concept stuff, a few others). We're up to 371 pages now. We had to correct one of the world maps (Kormoran, if you must know), and we should be set pretty soon. I think all that remains for the initial release is page number checking, index, and the OGL.

Can't wait until it's out, best news this year :)

Anyone going to GenCon UK later this year, maybe we can get some games together and get it noticed?

Latest version is 378 pages, with the character sheet and OGL. It should be ready very soon. It is pretty much complete, though.
