If I'm not mistaken that's the Scouts' job :D

I once found a web site with the whole mapped universe listed. It wouldn't be hard to build a program that does whole sectors at a time. Then a good XML page with database connectivity ...
sorry, geeked out there for a second.

if you can find ANTHONYs web site you will be stunned by the maps...Great Site....any one have the address????.....i lost it....Darnit!!....

IMHO: That is clearly the IISS.

who tracts all the interstellar trash - a seperate department???
Again, IMHO: I make that a local system activity for inhabited systems. In uninhabited systems or 'other' space only those that are truely important would be tracked by IISS.

Or perhaps you're looking for The Interactive Atlas of the Imperium, a very cool site! Many levels and features, go and get lost in it, you can always find your way back with it ;)

Btw Hunter, this is the way I'd like to see your own atlas pages but I may be asking for too much. If so, no sweat, but you gotta admit it is sweet.

Sweet yes, but far from complete. Nice set up they have though, btw. Noticed the mixed time period data Deneb is at its 1128 UPP. All else seems to be 1117-1119 data.

Yes, 'tis pity 'tis an incomplete masterpiece and with no update in the last year it may be as finished as the creator(s) can do for whatever reason. I hadn't noticed the Deneb oddity. Mostly I used it for the Spinward Marches and more recently the Old Expanses/Diaspora.

Thanks guys - the interactive atlas is Great!!!!...it will take me DAYS, WEEKS, to wander around in It....Wow.....Great "STUFF"...
Many Thanx!!!...

I just love these kinda "finds".....
:D

Like yourself? A Great find? Or a bad penny? Or a chronic case of Oops, somebody left the door open?
HAve at it Jim... It'll save you what I did before computers and that was redo it all with blank sector sheets by hand (and write small-reeeal small). ;)

Have you checked out DED's web site off the Yahoo Traveller Webring? His are either 1120, or up to 1200 dating (some have both). I also have Traveller navigator 3.1/Old expanses. Not as nice a program as what we were just lookin at, but it works fer me for TNE heresies. I'm going to have to mark THAT site inme favorites when my comp gets back from her "upgrades" (rebuilt --had a Virus Attacker this weekend.)

It pays to have good resources. The thing I like about DED's site (The DED Zone) is that not all of the sectors are done by anyone person. A lot of the DGP UPP data, and reworkings are held to as a canon as possible. Personally, the sector I'm fleshing out for 1117-1128-1201 is ZArushagar, which was tossed together with a number generator that created over 43 systems of X100434-Y systems(--Ancients cover up? I think not!).
I have to finish two worlds in G subsector then we can get onto H.

Intruder has detected our Rift base.

Power up the deep meson and FIRE!

This bring up the question of how many secret Rift sites, like the refuelling point mentioned in Arrival Vengance, exist?
