question - does anyone have a good WEB address for
a diagram or city plan of a large size Traveller Star Town, very detailed??....I am checking the internet, did i miss a good star town site???...Help, Help, Trader Jimneeds another place to take over!!!!, or maybe HIDE in!!!!

What are those clusters of round things between A and G? Where do starships land? I noticed there are docks, this appears to be a planetside starport, is it next to a body of water? Terrain doesn't seem to be shown here.

Picky, picky Tom! I think the round things are, ahhh, landing pits.

Great job Myth! I think the planetary ruler's compound is a little close to the starport for security though. I can see the Duke complaining about fly overs!

Hi, Tom.
The round things are, as Ran Targas guessed, landing bays. There are 11 landing bays to each little circle, 21 clusters with 66 bays, for 1386 bays total to accomodate starships and shuttles. Yes, this is the downport. Each bay can accomodate a ship up to 1,000 dtons. The bays are connected to the rest with a mag-lev line separate from the public line.

The docks are where cargo switches from starport to public, just as the concourse handles that function for people.

I borrowed HEAVILY from Eaglestone University's treatise on starports. See: Eaglestone front page

There is no water; the "docks" are a huge hangar-like building where cargo containers are moved from starport mag-lev to public mag-lev network.

Hi - looking at Mythmers diagram of his StarTown, I noticed a section called TATOO ALLY, great name!!

Now my question is, and I am serious!!!....What would be some GREAT Real Life Traveller Tattos???

What kind of Tatto would you put on your arm if you had the nerve???

can any one put up an imige in color on this thread....would like to see your work....could any one use it??
