Considering the fact that the original image is clearly showing an active combat situation (with "guns blazing" going on), the simplest answer s that what you're looking at is weapons fire. The original image shows bright something on the nose of the center, what do you all think it is? Random explosion in space?
I looked it up in the MgT High Guard and it's the recovery hanger. MgT has it as 2 launch tubes which makes a lot more sense for the configuration.Considering the fact that the original image is clearly showing an active combat situation (with "guns blazing" going on), the simplest answer s that what you're looking at is weapons fire.
Doesn't have to be a spinal mount.
LBB S9, p34 clearly shows that the class had four 50 ton meson bays.
You could be looking at an "artist's impression" of what a 50 ton meson bay weapon firing looks like ... meaning that entire "pod on a pylon" is the meson bay.
Fooled around with the model a bit more along the lines of the Mgt2E High Guard drawing. If anyone would like a 3D model to goof around with PM me and tell me what flavor your need.Hey Team,
Just to keep my Solidworks/OnShape skills up I've been 3D (rough) modeling the ships in CT Supplement 9 Fighting ships. The one I'm working on is the Skirmish Class Light Carrier. The original image shows bright something on the nose of the center, what do you all think it is? Random explosion in space? View attachment 3324View attachment 3323
There's no spinal mount on the ship.
Thanks!
MJ
Very beautiful!SIENO class close escort
400dt SIENO Class close escort is a small fighting ship used for various multi-purpose missions. This class is among the smallest armed interstellar warships. The original model of this class is a 300dt class close escort with drop tanks.
Removing the drop tanks from the design could shortened production time and simplified operations.
I remake this ship with more detail up and new body painting.
