T2K 1.0 CD-ROM?

Does anyone know when Marc is planning to release the 1.0 CD-ROM (rather than the one for 2.2)?

It will still be a few more months. He wants to include the Finnish stuff but cannot find a translator that will do the job for what would be economical to pay for such a project. Therefore, he is also waying on doing it machine translation then all the things like choicing the best images & al for the contents.

Oh right, the Finnish stuff... God, I hope he doesn't do a machine translation--it'll sound like Gygax.

I can't wait... {it is really 1st edition?}.

Had lots of fun with 1st-ed T2K on my CV-cruises with the USN in 1986-7...

Had 2 MarDet Marines (ship's guard Marine Detachment) role-playing AD&D with us until their GySGT decided they needed to be studying Marine-type stuff in their off-duty "free" time.

I then started a T2K game, and told them (CPL & L/CPL) to tell their Gunny that "a SGT from the USMC A-6 squadron aboard ship is conducting 'Small-unit Tactics Simulation and Discussion Sessions using Central-Europe-based NATO vs WarPac settings'", and requests their presence.

Never had another problem with that Gunny.

If he does, he's not saying publicly. Personally, I'd LURV to get that FASA/Gamelords CD.
