TA Authors

The Solomani TA text is complete and has already been revised in the last 6 onths again. It includes support ships of the Solomani Confederation Navy.

I do not have the power to commission the artwork on the Solomani TA, only Hunter does. It would take a good few months to do all the ship drawings for it though. and there are other TA's that were submitted before this one I think.

Robots of Charted Space, for one. The final draft for that TA was submitted in September, 2003.

Someday, I hope to see my baby in print,
Flynn

Thanks for the vote of confidence, I'll try and get it finished as soon as I can.

Talk about getting a duster, I think I need a hoover!

(Dust myself off)

Phew, it's good to be back!

Ok last time I posted on here (late 2003) I was in the process of writting a TA entitled "Travellers & Citizens"

>May 18,03 Travellers & Citizens Merlin: Draft >(December 12,03)

It got to a draft stage then due to personal problems writing the TA (gaming in general and a lot of the rest of my life) dropped by the wayside.

I made an attempt to resurrect the TA in late Nov '03 Flynn (Jason Kemp) kindly offered to help in completing the TA but for various reasons I never quite got round to A. thanking him for his offer or B. acting upon it.

Anyway fast forward 2 years (has it been that long?) and I've finally made my way back.

In the intervening 24 months I've managed, due to incompetence and over zealous use of the FDISK command, to lose my original draft copies of the TA (and about 5 years accumulated work) but:

1. If MJD, Hunter and co are still interested in a TA submission covering "Travellers & Citizens"

and

2. If theres anyone willing to co-write it from the ground up

I'd love to give it another shot...

Merlin. I'd love to help, but I'm loathe to promise on anything after the time I've taken over my already alloted tasks. I think I'll get mine finished off first before I try something else as well. I'm sure however there are plenty of people on here willing to give even a little bit of help.

Well Merlin, what exactly was the TA to be about? Was it a compililation of NPC stats, writeups of interesting NPC's along with a short adventure seed, or something else? I have some free time on my hands right now, and would be interested in helping out, if you can give me some idea where you want to go with this

Merlin,

If I didn't have too much on my plate already, I'd be all over helping you out. Let me get a few things taken care of, and once those are done, I'll touch base with you again, if you still need a volunteer.

More later,
Flynn

>Was it a compililation of NPC stats, writeups of >interesting NPC's along with a short adventure seed,

That was exactly it, most of the TA was the interesting NPC/Patrons and associated adventure seeds while the rest would be NPC stats for the classes not covered in 76 gunmen.

If anyone is interested (btw thanks for your offer Flynn, you're welcome to jump on board) I'm planning on making a *new* start this week so PM me if you're interested.

It's has been a long time. I remeber enjoying proof reading the TA and the Adventures, and I sent them to MJD last (2004) September!

There are a number of manuscripts on the back burner at the moment. While QLI has a somewhat limited staff and other resources to handle these things, I'm personally happy that Hunter isn't overextending the company to get stuff out, such as what happened with Imperium Games. It may be a while, but you know the check is good when QLI pays you.

Looking forward to future TA and EA releases,
Flynn

Howdy,

The project I am now working on was approved last week, so I figured I should bite the bullet and introduce it and myself. I would've done so earlier, but between bashfulness, convocation, a tropical storm and a traffic jam, it's been an eventful week.

My name is Mike Schulz and I'm a recovering graduate student. The project's tentative title is 'Raider Kingdoms.' At this point I'm just writing the intro and mopping up some research. So yeah, more developments as things develop!

When you are thinking of Raider Kingdoms...you can't do much better than looking at the Keith contribution to Reaver's Deep. The ultimate Pirate Haven turned Merchant Prince fief realms.

Well, I'm not sure how many beans I'm supposed to spill, but here goes.

Kafka47-thanks for the tip. I've never really known that much about the 'Lost Supplements' and will definitely pick them up once I save enough pennies.

Michael Taylor-Is neither an appropriate answer?

Ok folks, until I get more done on it, the following is about all I can say. In a nutshell, Raider Kingdoms is a supplement for TNE: 1248 looking at raiding and empire building on the frontiers of the Fourth Imperium. It will provide rules and setting information for referees and players interested in braving the wilds for fun, profit, or conquest.
