The Adjunct...Any hope of an "on CD" set?

Hi all


As I am sure you all know, there are several "Holy Grail" like items in Traveller book collecting. One of these is the 10 book Adjunct set of Imperial Armed Forces books. I have six of these in my collection and, having searched long and fought hard to get that far, I wonder if we will ever see anything on CD?

BTW... If you have an Adjunct Book 1, 2, 6 or 9 that needs a good safe non-smoking caring Traveller fan-boy home.... Well, I am sure you know the rest

But I know the Adjunct materials are on the "where is the owner now?" list.

And I've never seen #6. The rest, I've seen. But I think #6 is the one that may not exist.

I recall seeing (but not buying) a couple in the day, and hearing good things about them much later.

I'm not sure I see the usefulness of owning the Adjutant books. I own several of them, picked up over the years, and I've never used them in a game.

If you're roleplaying, what they do is add some military designs (tanks and other vehicles) to your game. I've never needed a tank in any of my games, thus I've never used them.

They were created using Striker vehicle creation rules, and they were designed for use in Striker games.

Again, I've never played an actual Striker game (although I've wanted to), so they've been of just about zero use to me.

US$340 for the Adjutant set.

US$182.50 for the MT set (just wanted a couple in that bunch).

A not too unreasonable price given the particulars, just more than I could afford, up to about half that I was sorely tempted to say screw the budget and snag it...

...and then it would have come out in PDF for $35.
