What do we know about this event? When I try a google search all that comes up, "Do you mean Irish Revolt?" which in itself has very interesting possibilities. Could it be that this was an uprising like the Easter Uprising or previous Irish revolts. What happened? Who suppressed it? Was it the differences between the Surreat and the rest of humaniti?

There is some discussion of the Ilelish Revolt in Travellers Digest 18, in an article entitled "A Concise History of the Third Imperium" by Clayton Bush.

Essentially the Ilelish Revolt (418-435) occurred when several high population worlds attempted to secede from the Imperium in an attempt to gain greater control of interstellar trade in their area. Martin II sent Imperial fleets to blockade these worlds and they eventually surrendered with little violence. An example was made of Ilelish however, and the sector capital was moved to Dlan.

The Suerrat do not seem to have played a role in the conflict, based on this source.
