Hmmm, I don't know if that works for TNE, but I'll give it a try!

Or, take a course in advanced mathematics and try to design one for myself.

I've heard good stuff about but never used Antti Lahtinen's spreadsheet for TNE FF&S ship building. The handiest link I have for it is in the TNE Yahoo Group file section:

I don't know if you have to sign up for access to the files or not. The one you're looking for is (I think) the Rb-98rf.xls file if you can get in.

I've had the TNE CD for about 6 months now, and I just got to reading FF&S1. While it seems well written and rich in options, it was just no fun to use.
Even trying a couple of spreadsheets only made it a little less 'not fun'.

It needs to be reverse engineered back into a CT:High Guard format.
