TNE Fire, Fusion and Steel

kafka47

SOC-14 5K

This is a private auction for serious Travellers only. I came across a battered (cover shows extensive wear but insides are clean and white) of the GDW/TNE Fire, Fusion and Steel in my collection.

Starting bid:

US$25.00 please bid in increments of .50 or $1.00 or more...

Bid via sending a private message.

Auction length 14 days from today, as I recognize most don't have a chance to visit the boards that frequently.

Daily or as close as I can manage updates will indicate the current price.

NB: Price does not include shipping, as I would have to determine where you are in the world and the method that you would like.

Shane:

Not sure what you experience that you have had with eBay but mine hasn't been too positive.

This item has been relatively hard to find, as was the Hard Times (not to forget that was my favorite Traveller product of all time) in Canada/Europe.

Granted... E-bay is not for everyone - but it does stand as a pretty good indicator of prevailing price and I've done pretty well there. Of course kafka47 can offer anything he likes at whatever price he's willing to accept - nobody's forcing me to buy. Ain't the free market great? :D

TNE FF&S - three in the last month. One at US$15.00 on one bid.

Hard Times is a lot rarer - but they do show up and you can definitely go home with one for less than $US 50.

That said - I can certianly understand people's frustration with E-Bay. If you've got your heart set on a particular item it is a giant excercise in patience. DO NOT get attached to any item until you are the winner and ALWAYS remember that most everything will come back around in the next month or so anyways. If you're willing to wait long enough almost everything will come by with a 'buy it now' sooner or later.

Just my cr0.02 - happy holidays!

There are also other auction sites (Yahoo, Amazon, and other smaller ones). I once picked up a copy of Arrival Vengeance for $3 on one of the smaller sites that I found by googling "Arrival Vengeance".

That said, I've had pretty good luck with eBay both as a buyer and as a seller. theSea's comments about being patient and not getting attached is very good advice.
