Travcon UK 2024 - Spaces available

British Isles Traveller Support are hosting a revived Travcon UK 2024 as we begin to emerge from jump after the COVID pandemic.

This small residential con is held in Cambridgeshire just off the A1 (Sawtry/Alconbury) and generally attracts previous attendees in number. Note: limits on space and referees mean we can only support a certain number of attendees.

Travcon UK 2024 will be held this coming 5th and 6th October 2024 and we have 3-4 places left including 2 nights hotel with breakfast(Fri and Sat) and con entry fees.

As BITS support all versions of Traveller and Cepheus there will be 4 slots of gaming (3 on Saturday and a long slot Sunday) with up to 20 games running over the weekend.

This year a twin or double room is £130.00 for 2 nights with continental breakfast and con entry. Gaming is held at a nearby Hall in Alconbury - 6 mins drive away.

If you are interested in attending please email Andy Lilly at
travcon@bits.org.uk
for information and booking form.

Thanks

A little late in responding here as I have only just dusted off my old COTI log-in.

It was the first TravCon for me (the plans for the one just as COVID hit having fallen through for obvious reasons). I enjoyed it a great deal, and defintely would extend thanks to Richard and Andy for making it happen. I know the kind of organisation this sort of thing takes, so fully appreciate it.

I played in several games, and had fun in all. Got to meet a few people whose names I recognise from forums/groups but had never met, and indeed finally met TC, a player in the campaign I'm running online, in person at last.

Looking forward to the next one, and I've already started roughing out ideas for a scenario to run.
