Traveller ship minis...

Home page a couple weeks back in fact but any news about it being seen eleswhere is good and a bump here doesn't hurt either since some seem to forget there is more than the forums to this site ;)

We thank you for your sighting sir :D

Now how did I miss that on SSM last time I was there

Great potential mention. Too bad the article only links to the FFE site and the link there to the minis goes to a File Not Found 404. Oops. There went a lot of possible buyers I suspect. >.<

Yep, my rant on that is over here. Just saying that people trying to find more info coming from SSM are going to find a 404. Sure they can hunt for Mega Miniature's site but the internet being the internet many likely won't bother.

It's January
But I'm still not sure. Well, actually I am pretty sure, and it seems to be pass. The paint on it is not helping and the price still seems a bit steep.

I do see they have the Scout/Courier listed now for April. But they have the spelling wrong and the same quick and (I hate to be unkind but... ) ugly paint scheme on it. Really not a selling point. The plain unpainted mini would probably be better.

There's also a couple tenative listings, the Pinnace and Fat Trader. I guess they'll be done in blue and gray with a sash brush too :( Pity really. To end on an up beat the Droyne don't look half bad, and as I have lots of ships to paint anyway maybe that's what I'll wait for.

not really sure, particularly since the Type A has such wonky deckplans, making a real length something of a conundrum.

The scale question and some answers came up on the last page of another ship minis thread, here:

...but as noted it's hard to say with certainty.

CT Alien module only mentions greyish toned skin with black markings.

GT Alien module mentions that their skin also comes in greens and purple...

But that's the GT ATU for you...

That was something that bugged me going through the Vargr AM - why wouldn't Vargr have all sorts of variations? Their fur should be different colors, their ears should be different, their muzzles should be differently sized, etc.

Back to your regularly scheduled topic....
